M38A1 untit markings
I have a friend who just got hold of his first MV, a 1955 M38A1, and it still has unit markings on it. Do any of you guys and girls recognize the unit? The jeep came from Oklahoma.

Looks like it was in Echo Troop of a Cav Squadron. Any marking on the bumpers? Those tell the real story.

The bumper markings are too faded to read...

January 08,2010.
Looks live "E" Co. 11th Cavalry, US Army to me as the numbers on the bottom of the guidon are too close togather to be much else. Carefully sand the lefts side of the front bumper , you will find several layers of markings if this jeeop got repainted more then once. A very cool item, next thing you'll want a "buford" hat from Dirty Billy's Hats in Gettysburg, Pa..... Sam Elliott's never wrong on his hatmaker....
Cheers,
Kyle F. McGrogan
