I been looking for a carter YS950 for my M38A1 and the cheapest one i can find is 295 bucks and require a core witch I don't have. Anyone know were I can get one for cheep.... or what would be a good price for a use one if i do find one? Thanks for the help I am brand new to M38A1's and have allot of questions.

I am in the same boat-I need a core so I can buy a rebuilt one. They are just pricey! Surf eBay every week and occasionally a core will go cheap..........

I just picked up one on eaby last night for 80. And then bought a rebuild kit for it from Kaiser Willys for 40. So I am in only 130 after shipping and tax..... Here is a few pics of the M38A1. Nothing special yet but no major rust. Just a few pin holes in the fuel tank well and one spot next to the pass side door.
