Unleaded Fuel in M38A1
I am a noob to these jeeps and I was wondering if there are any engine precautions to take since you have to run unleaded gas or if it is ok to run unleaded in it as is?

I've been running unleaded in ours for a year or so with no downsides.
But with time, you may have exhaust valve seat recession. If you are going to put a lot of miles on it, it may behoove you to have hardened seats installed.

I did the same thing, I just picked up the lead additive at Wally world. I had no problems with the M38A1 or the GPW.
