Default M715 Water pump

M715 Water pump

How do you get the pulley off the old water pump, and put it on the new one, without screwing it up?

Ah, the old M715 water pump blues. Welcome to the headache.

I can't help you - I simply replaced my water pump with a NOS one. Go to M715Zone.com, those guys have the process down pat.

Good luck grasshopper. Go to "the zone" and do a search. Many have tried different methods. I think Tim(barrman) had made good progress

I made a puller out of plate steel that looks pretty much like a steering wheel puller. That got it off. I am still trying to spec out the exactly right seals and bearings to rebuild the pumps so I haven't gone through the head ache of putting one back on.

Will the civilian motor pump work with changed pulleys?
