11.00x16 XL Michelins in DC area
Saw these on CL today - $200 a piece, seems to be the going rate. Hard to find now.

Within legal limits 11.00R16 are usable for a M715 series truck. Theoretically the tyre size should also fit into the spare tire mount, at least by diameter. The 11.00R16 are only some 25 mm (about one inch) larger in the actual static diameter than 9.00-16. The width is almost the same with the Michelins.
The theoretical difference is something like 7 % in rolling circumference. Due to the acuracy of the mil speedometers (reading 55 mph, measured 51 or a little more depending on TP) this is aceptable at least in Europe / Germany.
I ordered some 11.0R16 for my M715 due to no other tires in 9.00-16 available any more exept tractor tires beeing only good for 40 kph.
