The name Stampy was given to my first CJ5 by a friend after I got "stuck " in a thicket of trees on my property with 2 -3" trunks. I wasn't stuck for long and the trees did not survive the ordeal.
The link accessory is pretty much an engine coolant heater system - good info.
All set up with components for outside water sources and purification.
I am going to get a better look and measurements from the tool box area and decide if I want to stick my (for sale) Onan Genset 4 kw gasoline (rebuilt) Emerald in there on a sliding rail and use the stock cover plate to hide it once slide in ?? or mount the propane tank removed from the rv in there and still do the same with the stock cover plate to hide it ?
The roof racks - ladders - #2 unit fuel tank systems should all be painted and mounted this weekend. I still have to build the exhaust shields to the added on upper sections.
On #2 unit I have 2 sections of floor to replace (see your above post for what goes in there ) and pressure was his wall and ceiling this weekend as well.
Just plain flat need to get started on the inside and get this outside stuff done once and for all.
Yeah me too I have been fighting off being sick and was hoping to get to it this weekend but alas Friday was hard for me and I am still trying to get rid of this nasty cold.

Woah baby - is is great to see the grand kids pitching in - the little blonde headed one loves to turn wrenches with grandpa - the other two as long as they can see sparks or flames (wonder where they got that from ) will keep attentive and hang around.
Thought I would throw these in here for you dads with kids that might not realize they want to hang around and learn something - it was difficult buying a pigmy spray mask so it was properly fit.
The paint on the tank is a sample of the Rapco stuff simulated - scared the living crap out of me when I opened the can and mixed to spec's with the recommended thinner - it looked like shiny olives - then finally dried out to match perfectly.
Ladders and racks were also painted today along with the added on mufflers and pipes to the exhaust system.
enjoy
Got the rear door ladder mounted to both units
Got the passenger seat installed and both welded in with seat belts (pass is like the drivers seat)
Got the fuel tank installed and painted to #2
Got the roof racks in and mounted
Painted the exhaust
decal's installed to both units on the instrument panels
one step closer
PAPA - anytime
the ladders and racks are installed with "threaded nut zerts"
the bolts do not go through the body - they only go through the outer skin with 3/8 ths threads and bolts/ A pair of crimpers are used - the nut zert threads onto the end of the tool - insert into the skin and it crimps (line a rivet) and it still maintains the 3/8 thread internally - and then just bolt them on - very cool stuff.
IF you want to see it - I can post a pic of how it works - come in all different sizes.
Yes please post a picture I always like knowing how to do the hidden attachment as it gives a clean look all around.
