Does anyone have a good cabling diagram showing all the correct cables and hookups that are required when installing a RT-524 radio set, when used with a VIC-1 intercom system?

or you can search on www.tpub.com for "VIC-1 VRC-46" to get what you want. Searching for RT-524 will not get a wide selection and may overlook what you need.
VIC-1 and 12 series radios are compatable. VIC3 won't work with the 12 series.
The type of radio you mount is kinda "machts nichts". You need to put the radio into the MT1029 and then screw the bolts to secure the radio. Then just hook up the antenna cable and the 4722 antenna matching unit cable.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I uploaded most of those manuals to references several years ago. The Org.Maint. manual is TM 11-5820-401-20-2 for vehicles using the intercom (eg.: tanks, personnel carriers) ###-20-1 is vehicles without intercom (wheeled vehicles).
