Called Eglin yesterday reference my pickup and was informed new base access procedures are now in effect as of this past Tuesday.
I'm good to go but wanted to post this out there for others so you can take prudent measures to call and ensure you will be able to get on for a pickup.

CARNAC, you and Mr. Carson are able to devine the question to your answer, but for us mear mortals, what are the new requirments?
I've been to eight or nine different GL site locations. For each and everyone, I had to schedule an appointment, have proper valid state issued ID, vehicle registration card, and proof of insurance, though no one has ever looked at the insurance card.
What's changed, as I would like to know before charging off for a recovery and being turned away.
I think it would be wise to call the "Post" or "Base" ahead of time before going for any recovery. Access changes all the time, and can be different from base to base. Do not rely on what GL tell you. We all know how reliable they are.
