Saw this, and thought it was funny:

Oh Californistan your incompetent government strikes again. I'm sure that 500,000 dollar police command vehicle will come in handy when the people riot from you spending all their money on that 500,000 dollar police command vehicle. If only you could drive it!

I'm sure they issued themselves the mandatory fines and tickets once they discovered the problem. As we know how 'understanding' they would be for a comercial driver in the same situation.

So can I print that out and shove it in the LEO's face saying "I have 3 axels, now leave me alone"?

$19000 just to get a truck back to the factory for warranty work. No wonder they are going broke. I wonder if the three deputies have their CDLs?

You know. I would be happy to drive that command vehicle up to Ohio myself. I would only charge them 8,000$. A bargain! Of course, they would probably cite me for being overweight right out of the parking lot. Can't they just remove 2500# of crap they don't need from it?

What rocket scientist wrote the specs for that POS.

How hard is it to find some truck fabrication specialist in the Fruit and Nut State that can add a tag axle to that overpriced boondoggle.

This is why government (all all levels) is going broke.

Since they are spending the taxpayers money so it is OK to throw it down a rathole.

Everyone involved in the purchase of that thing should have their pay docked to pay for the SNAFU.
