Found this over on the Pirate4x4 site. Great winching & recovery reference with LOTS of info, statistics, charts including wire rope, clevis/shackle, chain Blocks (sheave, pulley, snatch block) straps etc.. Every thing you ever wanted to know including what you never thought to ask.

Just thought this would be good to reference here with so many w/w trucks owners.
Good links at the end too. You can never be too safe when winching!!!
