God doesn't want me to go to Winslow's
Recently I've been planning to make a trip to John Winslow's place in NC to pick up some parts. I don't know what it is, but I have a feeling God doesn't want me to go. Weekends that I planned to head down there were:
Weekend before Christmas (30 inches of snow)
Last weekend in January (6 inches of snow)
This weekend, first in February (planned 24 inches of snow).
I am still planning to go there, but it looks as if I must do it "on the fly", like take a day off work and go, when it's nice, last minute planning if you know what I mean.
Has this happened to anyone else? Kept planning to go somewhere and every time something stood in the way last minute?

Three of us (SS members) have been trying to get together in SC (to swap parts, trucks, etc.) for a couple of months and every time we set a date, weather or a mechanical failure grounds one of us.

When I was manager at a parts store in the 80's we had a guy start work in the fall and he was from Florida. One day I had him stocking shelves with snow brushes. He asked what they were and I told him he had better keep one out for himself.

DUG,
"Snow" is an alternative form of precipitation that is used when mother nature does not want it to all run off right away.

Could you do me a favor and not plan on going to Winslow's on the 21st of February. It's my wife's birthday, and I don't want it to snow that weekend. ;0)
You'll get down there, someday, I'm sure.

Hello Mike
I may want you to pick up an M809 air filter. If you can find out what he gets, I'll send the $ and get it from you at Jim Thorpe.
