we now have 7089 members, is there any way to find out what the total number of vehicles owned, each kind and the total of each kind with out a mile long thread, maybe a behind the scene tally that we can go to. is there any of you computer gurus out there that can put this together, for example the total of each kind of 5t, then the total 5t . also since we are this far into this, is there any way to keep a data base on who has what, it would come in handy for a specific question or information to a specific vehicle, example m819 specific

The Following User Says Thank You to 73m819 For This Useful Post:
WestFolk, i see your point, maybe do live data bases meaning they would grow or shrink as the data came in so as the ownership of or count changed the databases reflected this

At the moment I have 8 trucks, 12 semi trailers, and a few baby units. While 2 weeks from now I might have 20 trucks and no semi trailers.
I'm having a heck of a time just getting 1 Deuce, much less 8. Did get a trailer though so my collection has started. Anyone want to lend me some money for a Deuce???????
Each member could adjust his tally as he buys and sells, and the computer could keep tabs on the updates and the changing data base. (I guess it could, I am a technological illiterate so I am speaking off the cuff)
Ron, we may have 7,000 plus "members", but the majority (last time I checked) never posted even one time and remember, now you have to join simply to view a picture.
If you could "search" the profiles only, then you should be able to get hits for each vehicle you search for. Those hits should be a fair representation of the number of vehicles, at least if they are listed individually....
