Default MV and off road event in Tehachapi, Ca

There is a guy in the MV club who hosts an event on his property in Tehachapi, Ca. This will be the 4th year he will do it. He has 20 acres, has a band that does 60's and 70's rock, does the bbq food thing, live fire on his range...yes, you can bring your personal items..run by a ret. U.S. Army weapons specialist, trail rides. It is an over night or two gig. Last year, he had it scheduled on Fathers day, so his attendance was down. I volunteered to get this out to others that aren't SCMVCC members, so maybe he will do it again. Couldn't go last year due to something my better half had goin' on, but plan to go this year if he does itHe wants to shoot for the weekend of June 6th. If anyone is interested, please PM me and I can fwd him the info, or, Chuck has said it's OK to contact him on the e-mail address on the copy of the attached flyer. I have also included a PDF of the club newsletter that has pics of his event last year. You DO NOT have to have a MV to come out. There are 4x4 trails and this is a family event. The Boy Scouts are there too. There are apx 20 camp sites, restrooms, and if you don't like to camp, there is lodging in town.

Forgot to say that it's a free , as in no fee asked for, no matter how many vehicles or people you have. Chuck will not ask for dollars. He puts out about $500. for the food and band and such.

Depends on which w-end Chuck pics. The last two were in conflict with my owners plans, so they were a no go. I have already asked...AHEM...I mean told her, that I am leaving for the w-end sometime in June

Everytime I go back to California, I stop there. Its a very nice little town.

Everybody brings joy into the MV world, some by joining, others by leaving!!

I know Tehachapi is a really neat place for rail fans, too!

It is beautiful!

If anyone cares to Google "Tehachapi Loop," you'll see the rail history there.
