The Military Vehicle Collectors of Colorado supported their second Colorado National Guard Event this year. The 101st Army (CONG) Band held a free concert in downtown Denver at the Performing Arts Center. Search CONG 150th annivesary to see pics of the first event. We had a request for a few vehicles for display. The pics show what we brought. The city had the entire block's parking meters bagged for our vehicles. Some pics show the cool warning the bags had on them. They were ignored and the city had about 15 cars towed while we waited to postion our vehicles in the proper spots. It was a blast to watch! Must have a bunch of P-offed people though. The ultimate tow rig shown is an ex power company all wheel drive KW crane truck with a 425HP cummins, factory lockers front and rear, hydraulic winches front and rear, 5 ton bed on the back, cruises at 65 no problem even with the weather truck on the trailer behind it. Truck to be painted OD soon. Look for the whole rig and weather truck at MVPA Topeka. On of the pics attached shows a weather truck like this one on the beach at Normandy. Our logo is shown on the back cover of the program.

A Veteran - Whether Active Duty, Retired, National Guard or Reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life". That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that."
Here are a few more including that truck coming up in the mirror. We convoyed for about 35 miles and we were getting off at out exit as he continued on.
