10 bolt ?

Since my 1009 has 10bolt 8.5 inch ring and pinions can i pull open carrier and gears from my 8.5 with 373s and put in my diffs?and add powertrax posi,both 28 spline ?

cool, there are tons of 8.5 10 bolts in the yards,posi and non posi,as long as donor rear is 2:73 and up all is good,and front and rear centers interchange so posi or locker in front is cheap,and if i really want to upgrade more 88 and later rears had 30 spline axles instead of 28s,they put these 8.5s in everything,impalas,novas,chevelles,camaros....gonna look for 72-81 z28s/transams,most likely posis..
