With the actual filter removed from the canister in my olf jeep, I poured a little kerosene in the canister in order to be cleaning things up.
My wuestion is, the kerosene did not go down the hose at the bottom. I even took the hose off and it is wide open, yet the keroesene dont go away???
How could this be right??
How does it get into the hose and run down into the timing chain cover?????
I also have a thread on this subject on the EARLY DUECE forum and have been getting great advice on related matters, but not this specific drain ing subject?????
Thanks

There is a little hole about halfway up the center hollow rod where the oil flows to the outlet fitting.

AH!!
So thats maybe why mine seems to not be going down. Perhaps I dont have enough in it yet to reach that hole so I could notice it??
I will check it out first chance I gets.
Thanks so much.
