The truck came without a fuel tank, so starting from scratch, I'm using an M52 steel tank and it gets the full treatment including coolant heating and temperature sensors.
Working on the heating coil install today, it's "screwed" in and there is only a minor adjustment left to do so that it clears the level sending unit arm.

The tubing comes in a coil, I simply tightened it. You are looking at 15-20 ft of 1/2 o.d. tubing.
The bulkhead connectors were part of a pair of glad hand fittings from a parts M52.

The assembly was pressure tested with compressed air.

Inside the tank, it surrounds the fuel pump.
