Hey I was going to buy that! Now it will be a million dollars!.........

I think I know what it is. It may be a Continental 4cyl Industrial engine. The adapter plate to allow an SAE Bellhousing is missing. I have the same engine in my Miller Trailblazer44G. They will run forever, start easily, and are pretty simple. The Disributor pokes right through the middle of the head. The Diesel version is pretty much the same except for some obvious differences. That thing is brand friggin new! If you poke around GL for Engine-Driven welders you will deff. find more pics of them as wel as the Diesel models.

Well duh, only after writing the post did I open up the link posted by Kaiser109 to verify, and yes it is a Teledyne Continental Industrial engine. Thanks for posting this Kaiser!

It does look like it could be a Contenental. Have seen some in Massey Harris 30 tractors and self propeled combines, pumps. My Massey Harris had a historicaly under powered starter in 6 volt so it was converted to 12 volt. But sometimes I just crank started it!
