I'm looking at getting some recaps for the r22.5 wheels for the back of the deuce. Any suggestions on what to put on?

Also, what's the angle on getting serviceable but cheap tires in this size?

Cheers

Hi Tony,

Thanks. Call me a coward, but I'm too afraid of a premature death by decapitation by monkeying around with my junk and whatnot so I'm going to a one piece r22.5 wheel (which also has much better tire choices!). ;)

Yeah I already have the rims, and it's funny - I was looking at a Ford F600 or something parked near my neighborhood napa the other day, and I noticed it had 6 on 8.75 wheels! :)

I got all my junk from a Hino.

Wanting to install taller street tires for the long hauls for: more top end, less wear on the NDT tires, and ease of replacement when on a journey. I remember reading something about Ford 22.5" 6 lug rims.

Tried the search feature and Pesto!

I have been noticing the Hino trucks having 6 lug rims but have not seen the Ford as of yet. Does anyone have any input or further knowledge of this.
I want to be sure before I go purchasing 1 rim to try out. Junk yard prefferred.

I am leaning toward the Bridgestone M726 EL tire. Nice aggesive tread pattern with advertised longevity.
