Diesel Driven Air Compressor

I'm rebuilding a Diesel driven rotary air compressor, trailer mounted. Model 11M125RPDQ.
This has a three cylinder John Deere engine. Really neat. I need a DB 2 4531 2500 fuel injection pump(operational) or someone that can rebuild the one I have at a price a normal wrench can afford. Any ideas.............

Did you contact a John Deere dealer?

I'm sure the dealer could get him one but it would most likely cost 3X as much as another source. Had to get a few parts for my old JD backhoe and although i couldn't find them at any price at any other supplier.

JD wants nearly $2000.00 for a new one, and up to $1200.00 to completely rebuild.

Ouch! Might be cheaper to replace the whole engine.

I've found the intire unit minus the compressor for $900. But, probably in similar shape.

Yanmar made the engine for smaller John Deere---up to about 30 hp---try to find a dealer thst sells Yanmar---lot of used parts availabe---I used to have a 22 horse Yanmar
