Tan Paint

I am getting ready to paint my deuce. I want to go with Tan but don't know what color tan. I have looked at the Tan 686, FS 33446 and the FS 33722. One seems too dark and the other too light. My son is in the Navy and thinks it's the lighter one that they are using now but they don't have any tan trucks on his current base. Anyone care to shed a little light on this history lesson?

It is to my understanding that 686 is the current tan used in the middle east. The Rover in my Avatar is gov surplus 686 single part carc ( click below ), which is the color I was leaning towards for my deuce until I saw a M-37 ( on E-bay) painted in Military Earth yellow ( darker )
