My '71 deuce with 1985 -1C just turned over 400 hours yesterday, and I figured it was time to ask these questions:

When adding a new engine to an existing frame, is the industry practice to keep the milage on the odometer and reset the engine hours, or are both reset?

What IS an "engine hour" anyway? Pure time the engine is running, or some "RPM x time" factor?

Inquiring minds want to know!
