this weekend, I loaded up my deuce and headed to Gladewater, Tx.(200 miles 1 way). After a rough start (had to stop and repair/replace the gasket on my fuel pump
, I got on the way..... Let's just say I'm glad I had the foresight to put some earmuffs in the truck before I headed out. Once I got there, the deuce was a HUGE hit. I don't know who enjoyed it more..... the "little" kids (3-1
or the "big" kids 18 and up. I had my cot and sleeping bag in the back, so I didn't worry about a tent, just crawled in when I had too much "refreshment" and crawled out a couple hours later. If anyone is interested in coming to it next year, I'll be glad to give more specifics and dates.
There was a crawfish boil, b-bq, lotsa refreshment courtesy of Coors and fun by **everyone**. I am waiting for pics to be email ed to me, but when they are, I'll be glad to post them. In the meantime, here is "George" in front of "Fred Lobster"...
