Here is a picture of the square socket tool I use to remove the rear 1/4 " pipe plug on the airpacks of both my 5 ton M818 and my Deuce. The one where you can add some air tool oil to keep things lubricated in there. I got this at Home Depot in the plumbing dept. Both trucks' plugs were rounded off from someone using pliers or regular wrenches and were almost impossible to remove. The end marked T 15 is a pefect fit for the plugs on these trucks. I filed the rough edges off my plugs a little first to allow the tool to fit the plug and with this tool and an adjustable wrench you can get some serious torque on the plug to remove it without any worry of rounding it off. The T 15 end fits perfectly over an undamaged plug. Might save someone from some frustration.
