Industrial degreaser?

I stumbled upon an article about a guy who offers recycled industrial degreaser as Diesel substitute. He claims that the industry pays as much as 70 Euro-Cent per liter for getting rid of the stuff! There is some interesting data about the degreaser on the website below, which says that many properties of the degreaser are better than original Diesel.

(its in german, sorry)

If I hadn't my source of free transformeroil-Diesel mix I'd give it a try. The company offers a book about a method to clean the degreaser in order to run it as fuel.

Another (old) thing, a german university is working on diluting Diesel with Water (50/50!) and solvents as well nano-structures to stabilize it with much success, so maybe this is a another probable way to copy with high fuel costs in the near future. One solution they propagate is to mix Diesel, solvents and water "on the fly" before injecting it to reduce the problems of storing it over a longer time and risking separation of the emulsion. They are testing it on a Deutz Diesel engine from a truck.

(sorry again in german, but I could translate it if anybody is interested).
