Hi all,
I came up with an idea, and, it seems to work pretty good.
I thought I'd post it and see what you all think, or, can add to it......

I cut my slave cables, and, installed the twist connectors for welding cable on each end.....
now, using my welding cables, I can have 100 feet of slave if needed.....
It's sure nice to be able to pull up behind another MV and have enough cable to go all the way to the front. or, over a couple of logs to get to it.......

Just wondering what you all think, or, am I crazy (again)......

Are you getting a significant voltage drop at that length?

100' is a hefty cable! That'll take up some room. Will it fit in the BII box?

the big cable seems to hold the voltage pretty good. I've not put a meter on it, but, it works as intended.
I can add 25' at a time, starting with a 30" piece.
It's also easier to handle in 25' lengths.
I just have an old metal box with lid I can keep the sections in.
