Threw some transfer case brackets together for the baby HEMTT and
getting the 1600s mounted on the project truck.
Here's a few pictures to enjoy.

Those are some massive meats Jones! Can't wait to see how they look on the finished project. Speaking of HEMTTs, has anyone talked to Bruce Kubu lately to see how his project is coming along?

Which project? If you are talking about his beautiful HEMTT, you should look at the pics I posted from aberdeen, as it is complete (I think)

The HEMTT is done, he had winslow sandblast and repaint it. Looks like a new truck. He is still working on the armored HMMWV, but that is mostly done, running and down to just a little cosmetic work.

He got frustrated with SS because he was having trouble logging on. Maybe drop him a line and work it out for him.

Sweet, haven't talked to him in a while and didn't make it to Aberdeen so I wasn't sure of the status. Glad to hear he got it done. I've missed a lot in my absence. I'll shoot him an email about SS.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread Jones.

No problem SS. Glad to see you're surfacing again.
Tell Bruce I've got some HEMTT top bows if he's interested. AND, my compliments on a beautiful HEMTT restoration! Give him a heads up too on the up-armored HMMWVs. We're finding that they're now top-heavy and prone to flipping.
Jim Wallew clumped all my baby HEMTT posts together and you can see from them that it's now sitting in my driveway; getting fuel tanks, tool boxes, and I'm currently building the engine doghouse.

Thanks to Chris Stansbury, I am now able to get on the list again. To clarify, I had two HEMTTs...one is a really nice M977 cargo and the other started as a basket case...an M978 fueler. Thanks to some really nice work by Tommy Craig in FL, the M978 was coming along nicely when I was approached by a dealer and decided to sell it.

Glad to see you back Bruce. Sorry I missed Aberdeen but save me a seat for next year. I heard that the M977 was awesome. Hopefully it will still be around next year so I can see it.
Take Care,
Kenny

Kenny,
If you get to Aberdeen next year, you can drive the HEMTT. Unless a nicer one comes along, this one is staying with me!

From what I hear, I doubt that a nicer one exists Bruce. I know your taste in trucks (I'm driving one) and I'm sure it's top shelf. Thanks for the offer, I'll certainly take you up on that!
