What does an S-280 weigh empty? I'm scheming on something for the Deuce and want to know if it's feasible or if it would slow to a crawl.

They fit fine. I like them as a "camper" much more than a M109....just take them out of the bed & you have your deuce back!

4000 lbs. Just loaded my 280 into a dropside deuce and the truck didn't even wince. Weight is under a shop van, and those run on down the road really good.

shelter with gear, 6500.. it is a load. They make top-heaviness.
