Hey All, I keep getting Diff. answers for my Question : How Long Is The Tow Rope (eye to eye) For A 44 GPW. I Say 25'. HELP?

There is no tow rope listed in TM 9-803 dated 1944 Section VII. Wayne

According to the book"All American Wonder" the rope should be 12 feet long overall. The eyes should each be about 1 foot long.

Eric, If you start with 24' long rope after braiding it will end up approx 22'. I can't remember where I got that info from but that size seems to be the general excepted length. In AAW is wrong. The rope should be 1" hemp not 7/8" like you see on most Jeeps. My .02 Mike
