Got my sf-97/Florida title today

Today the mail brought me a pleasant surprise, I got an envelope from GL signature required. I kind of knew before I opened it what it was. Enclosed is a very nice printed bill of sale and a completed, pretty, blue, State of Florida title for my deuce. In the morning I'll run over to the BMV and get the title transferred into an Ohio title and pick up some plates, then I'll be 100% legal and able to drive my truck finally.

I don't think it was too long of a wait either. I got the truck home on June 25th, I submitted the SF-97 request on Thursday morning the 27th, received the title in the mail today July 23rd. Not quite a month.

I got a notice today from the post office to do a pickup, signature required, states its from GL, so I should have mine tomorrow, and hope to register it next week. Submitted on about July 3rd so just about 20 days.

What a great feeling it is to take that fist drive all nice and legal.
