There is no reason you couldnt make the fronts fit. the rear will not.

I am pretty sure they are real similar. difference being, the Burb fronts may not fold forward in 'stock' form.

Burbs after like 1979 have a different front floor than blazers do.
l didn't know that!

The M1009 seat assembly seems pretty simple. Do you think they would fit with a little drilling of some new holes?

The Suburban floor never changed in the front. The blazer floor did back in about 79. The front floor was flatter and the depression in the back floor for legroom for the back seat passengers. Seat tracks for the CUCV shouldn't fit the burb. If you have burb bucket seat tracks, you could attach the seats from the CUCV. Exactly what do you want to do?

Kenny, the blazer floors changed again somewhere around 84 or so, when they removed the 'latch' pocket for the passenger seat :)

didnt they add the depression in the back floor more about 75-76 when they made the back seat fold?

Gotcha, thats what I was thinking. If you can find any old bucket seats out of a suburban, you should have no problem attaching the CUCV buckets to thise tracks. Are you going to have a 3rd seat as well? I'd love to do a CUCV burb and when my dually craps out, I will. Back in the 80s I went to the 4 Wheel & Off Road Jamboree in Indy and Chevy had a one off CUCV Blazer there. Looked very much like the regular CUCV from the outside but the interior was a marvel. All the seats were the top of the line GM and were covered in canvas. Had straps and removable pouches all over them plus you could attach stuff with ALICE clips. Thats the way I want to go. CUCV all the way on the outside but the canvas and A/C on the inside. WOuld love to have a 4 speed too.
