If you are talking about the two empty bolt holes with no fresh paint in between, I have no idea. I don't have anything there on my truck either.

Seeing that your truck has the Generotor to Altenator cable running along side the engine head, that is where the 25 Amp voltage regulator bolted to the fire wall. Think about how long it's been since your engine compartment was painted.Boatcarpenter said:

One of my manuals shows the early style air compressor governor in that general location. Hmmm, maybe?!?
