I am considering the positives and negatives of adding four wheel steering to an A5 Mule.

Value, stability, wear, etc...

Anyone have thoughts?

I addede four steering to mine and am not sorry. Much more maneuverable. The military went to two steer because of roll over issues, but common sense driving and that is not a problem.

There is the possibility in tight quarters of swinging the rear into something, so caution must be used there.

Mine was already four-wheel steer capable but I'm pretty sure it's a simple conversion.
Rear axle change (needs to be a rear steer axle, not just a front axle turned around), some linkage to find, and a bracket added to the frame to hold the rear drag link when in two wheel steer should be all you need, if memory serves me.
