Blue Smoke

I have a 1985, M1028 and I generally use it to haul wood, great wood hauler anyway, 2 weeks ago I was crawling through the woods about 1-2 miles an hour and I hit a stump hidden in some grass! I drove the truck for an additional 10 min and shut it off. Well when I started it again, it ran for 2 mins tops and quit. To find out my fuel pump broke, I must have hit the stump harder than I thought! Anyway I had a spare used fuel pump and bleed the system. Now it smokes on the left side when it is hot, blue smoke but it smells doesn't smell like motor oil, it smells like raw diesel, the engine runs smooth. Any ideas?
