Mokan liberty memorial rally may 29-31

MAY 29-31 MOKAN Liberty Memorial rally

Every one is invited to our annual Memorial Day rally at the only WWI memorial in the US. We start setting up Saturday at noon and go through Monday. Sunday we have front row seats for the fire works as the Kansas City Symphony plays down the hill from us. Camping on site but no RV hook ups. If you will be coming for Sunday with a MV let us know how many folks and we will provide you with a KC strip dinner that afternoon. Some of us Monday will drive a few blocks to the KC Vietnam Memorial for their ceremony . Link shows the various events that will be going on. National World War I Museum - Upcoming Events
Last year we had 42 MV'S and hope to have more.

I have it on good advise that it will NOT be raining Memorial weekend, hope to see a bunch who did not make it down to Augusta today, then.

there were rumors that a recent rock concert held in the area of the show at liberty memorial may have severly damaged the gorund where our display is to take place. I just got off the phone with someone and they assured me our ground is nice and green and will be 100% ready for us to set up on when we arrive. porta potties and portable sinks will be in place.

why is it that big city guys are always picking on small town types???

I think I've seen ELMO, or a truck similar to it, around Mission, KS. Nice family vehicle!

if you saw a 4 door 5 ton truck anywher near here, it was mine.

You must be kidding, I live in the town of De Soto, so small we don't even have a grocery store anymore!!! This from a guy who lives in the states 4th largest city. Nice thing about small towns they don't bug us about having OD in our drive ways.

od in the driveway? I aint got a driveway big enough to park my od in. maybe a littel deuce would fit? lol, now thats funny. heck i still got more room out by the shop to aprk plenty. the more the better, right? besides, i get people all the time stopping by cause they either saw the elmo outside or heard about me and living in reno. at least 1-2 people a month or som when its nice outside.

For God's sake, don't step in any mud at the Liberty Memorial!!! Ha, ha.

I just sa an MV on KCTV5 while they were doing a story at Liberty Memorial. It looked like a 6x6 with a crane on the back. It didn't appear to be a wrecker. More like a construction style for loading/unloading the truck.

there wont be any mud puddles there, we plan on throwing the jeeps in the mud puddles to drive acorss! just kidding, we only use the jeeps for wheel chocks

I drove over there this evening. It looks like a 2 1/2 ton wrecker. It looks nice. I forgot to take my camera but got a few pics on my cell phone.

We do have a Post office that's open 3 hours Monday - Friday
