The thingy on the steering that a tow bar fastens in to is bent on one side. If I heat a straighten it with out braking it, will it be ok or will it likely brake later?

Thanks very much.
It isn't bent a lot,I haven't measured. One side is bent out like maybe someone was using and pin came out leaving all pulling pull on one side. Heck maybe someone put a chain or cable through one side. Anyway just one side is bent and no way holes in both sides will line up for pin to go through.

I have been able to straighten one out by just placing it in a large vice and tightening it down slowly with out any problems. Keep checking to see if the pin goes in smoothly. By the way I was able to do this with out heat if it was off just sightly.
Let me know how it turns out
Bob
