Fought GL&Battle Creek-I WON

GL submitted my EUC on April 9 and as of Monday no word yet. Needless to say like everybody else I was P----D! So at lunch I called Gl and spoke with a very helpful young lady. Explained what was on my mind and she says I don't blame you folks for being upset. I asked about getting my money back and she informed me that after 90 days I was eligable for a full refund. She also gave me the phone # for Battle Creek. So I called the # and spoke to another nice lady who was as P----D as I was. I was nothing but nice to her like speaking to my mother. She says GL shouldn't give out their phone #. I apoligized for calling and was told that since I was being so nice that she would file a customer ticket for me and send it to the DLA research dept. She said they would contact me the next day and we hung up. I figured to never hear from them but 10 oclock the next morning my phone rang and it was a fellow from DLA telling me my EUC was still in hibernation. He said he would work on it. Well he did. In the meantime I am sending GL E-mail as I was told to do requesting a refund and after 3 e-mails I finally got a response. I figured give me my money back or the EUC. Here is what I recieved from GL and Battle Creek. I'll cut and paste on the next block

requesting status of the End Use Certificate you submitted in support of
your recent purchase with Government Liquidation (GL) was forwarded to

The DLA Accountability office responsible for issuing a Trade Security
Control (TSC) clearance to buyers advises that your clearance is still
pending. Because a vehicle you are purchasing has a demilitarization
code of "F" assigned, the Accountability office requires a
demilitarization
certificate in order to complete their clearance process. We provided
the
certifications to the DLA Accountability office today and they will
expedite your TSC assessment and advise GL once completed.

:?I believe it starts counting once it is sent to Battle Creek. I guess they didn't want to refund any money so what a surprise to get my paid in full invoice this morning. I guess I didn't relly win but the wait is over finally.

I got a refund on a truck damaged post sale. took only a few days. Guess i was lucky

A fellow SS member has offered to pick it up and hold it for me until I can get down to get it. It's nice to be associated with alot of great people like we have here on this site.

What would really be a win, win would be if they gave you a refund also :lol:. To be honest, with the way GL works it wouldn't suprise me. Of course, they would eventually find the mistake and want the money back with interest though :sad:.
