Fellow Mule owners,

I could use your help, If you will look in the picture. I have this missing drain plug, it looks to be a water drain for the bell housing but I want to make sure, I don't see where it drains a gearcase. If it is a water drain should I leave it out or install a new plug. I searched my -10 but it is a poor copy and I can't make out what is what ???

I live in a hot & dusty area so if it is just a water drain I'll probally replace the plug

Let me know,

Thanks, Eric..

It's a good idea to pull this plug once a year to let any accumulation drain out. Not unusual to see a little oil drain out, but it should not be much. Bad axle seals will let the gear oil into the flywheel, bad rear crankshaft seal will let engine oil in.
