Just wondered if the guys on the forum where interested in a wet blasting cabinet? Also known as a slurry blaster, or I think a vapour blaster. Means no electrostatic charge, no dust, no heat generated. Got my hand on a unit by ICM this thing looks brand spanking new. All enclosed unit with everything in it. Has a 1/3 hp motor for the blower unit, has a 1.5 hp 3 phase motor on it for the slurry pump. Here is a video of what it does. This is a hydro hone model 36

Also could converted into a very nice dry blasting cabinet. Whole cabinet is solid stainless steel. From what i see for pricing on these it looks like the new price is somewhere around $20000. Any idea on what its worth now? Thanks all.

So do you want to know what its worth or are you selling it ?

Maybe both. If it isn't worth much I will probably take all the three phase wiring and motor off and sell those and keep the rest as a regular dry blasting cabinet for walnut shell blasting as well as glass etching.

If its worth more as a wet blasting unit then I would be willing to sell it. Should be worth several hundred in scrap Stainless as the whole unit is stainless. I know that these cabinets are crazy expensive.

I would take offers on it. I am hoping its worth a few thousand. If it turns out its only worth a couple hundred I'll keep it. I am going to call ICM tomorrow and get the new cost on it. I have pics, but they aren't loading right. It looks brand new other than needing a new set of gloves and some hose.

Your best bet is e-bay if you want top dollar , this is a auction sale price crowd here.
3 phase motors arn't worth much scrap theres not a lot of copper in them , like single phase motors.
