Hey gang,
I just acquired a 1949 CJ3A. It's embarassing how little I know about jeeps. It has the L-head motor in it. It will need some work on the body...okay, a lot of work. The engine runs good. I just need a battery and perhaps to flush the fuel tank. Any ideas how to get the fuel tank out? Also need to make sure the brakes are working. I think eventually, I'll need to replace the wheel cylinders. Seats would be good too. It currently has some old vehicle seats that were rigged in. So, in short, this is a start for me. I am really excited to be getting started. I will certainly post some pics and will be coming to you folks for advice and tech support! Great to be here and thanks!

Boy, ain't that the truth, 2 years ago, we bought an M35, and thought "that's it, we'll never be like these other guys who have entire fleets in thier backyards, they don't know when to stop, but we do"

That was 2 years, 1 M105 and 3 M35's ago......
