I caught the MV bug. . .

Here's my baby 22K miles on her. No rust, New hydroboost, power steering, tires, belts, hoses, and filters. Unfortunately I failed to do the U-joints. About a week after this pic was taken a u-joint failed and the drive shaft pounded the transfer case, transmission, and linkages to death. Also knocked a 4 inch hole in the floor. I cried like a baby.

Once she is back on the road I hope to start adding to the collection.

Nice Lookin truck!! U-Joints can ruin a day . You're going to know your CUCV very well when you're done and you'll know it was done right.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about that. Good luck getting your baby back on the road. (Note to self - go check U joints on M1009). :)
My advice is to fabricate a guard to 'catch' loose drive shafts in the future. This problem is turning into a nightmare.

Thanks to Gasser I have the part and my mechanic has installed it (I'm a body and fender guy) Unfortunately he doesn't seem to know how to set it up as the Ol Girl slipped out of gear again tonight and had to be limped to the shop in 4WD-Low. And my previously spotless undercarriage is soaking in leaking oil and transmission fluid. <sigh>
