Depends on what your plans are for it, but there were a lot fewer of the 6x4 CCW's built than the CCKW 6x6. Seems to me that all CCW's were closed cab, but I could be wrong. I would say it's definately a desireable and somewhat rare truck.

It's always struck me as odd that so many people want plain cargo 6x6 (with obligatory winch and ring mount) - when in fact other versions are much more scarce (CCW, water purification trucks, compressor trucks, etc). In virtually every other hobby - the scarcer - the more desirable (folks don't buy 4-4-2 and "clone" them into Cutlasses), but the MV hobby seems opposite.

So, I suppose its a matter of the audience - but most assuradly there are far fewer CCW truck exsistant than CCKW.

Congratulations,
David

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, the cargo truck w/w makes the most sense. If I have a deuce pipeline truck, about all I could do is dig holes in my yard for tulips. It's pretty impractical.

But my cargo truck allows me to do yardwork, haul away trash, get parts from the junkyard (big parts, like hoods and such). It gives me a dry place to camp, etc. My cargo truck is pretty useful to me.
