Desert Stuff

Don't know if this is the right spot, but, last trip out to Lucerne, Ca., ran across this yard full of stuff.There were also some fuel/water tanks, and some sort of pressurized containers.

Oh yeah, took a pic of the guys tele # if anyone is interested.

Yet AGAIN, left coast.

I think I saw that place a couple of years ago while taking the back way from Big Bear. Saw some trucks but the wife did not want to stop.

The "Pressurized Units" are twain agent units. They were mounted in the back of M1028 trucks. We had two of them in our Crash Crew in the Marines. One tank held PPK powder and the other tank held lite water (foam). The units were pressurized by two nitrogen cylinders. They were made for fast responce to an aircraft crash.

The box lookin' things are a 2 piece thind. Don't look much like a containerwould hold foam. Here's a pic of them. 2 kinds, rectangle white and rectangle with a couple of humps on them. Anyone know what they are for?

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the round items that were stored on top of the trailer in the last photo at the top. Those are shipping containers. We have them at work for shipping aircraft parts.
