Harry if you don't have the MFG name on the data plate you will most likely never know. There were a bunch companies that made them. Some where , Stevens, Pribbs Steel, Johnson, Case-Master,Turtle Mountain, Kasler, Libby, Parkhurst.
M101 Trailer, Cargo, 3/4 ton.

Also, those aren't serial numbers, they're probably lot or sale numbers. The gov't didn't track serial numbers on trailers the way they did on vehicles. That's why it is such a short number. When I went to register the numbers on an M105 it was already registered by someone else.
