Car Dolly Question

I'd like to take my ferret to more shows and events so I am considering using a car dolly. I would be pulling it with a Chevy Avalanche.

Now before I do something completely stupid, would someone tell me if this would work or if I'll be making a big mess.

I'd hazard a guess that the Ferret (heck, just the B60 alone!) weighs more than the Avalanche!, so Bad idea, especially as there'd be no "trailer" brakes.

My vote would be for a low profile, lightweight (but strong enough) trailer with electric brakes hooked to the car, so long as the weight capacity of the car wasn't exceeded.

There are dollies that have brakes on them, but by the time you are spend the money to get one of those, you are most of the way to a full blown trailer (which would be more versatile).
