it's interesting, but other than the PDF you linked it's not showing up on their website or google. There is another PGF for a swing away version for the airlift bumper, but also no other info anywhere.

I looked too. It looks to be a limited run (1000?) for a mil contract or something. If that's the case, there should be some floating around out there somewhere.

If not, its information for someone to fab up for themselves.

On looking closely, it looks like it could have been previously used in the NYC garment district.

A bunch of plumbing pipes and pipes bends jerry rigged together.

Brilliant in its simplicity.

I like that a lot!

Smart design and easily imitated. Simple to use without ratchets and such.

Thanks for sharing!

With the amount of talented fabricators in this forum, I’m sure some could “whip” up a set of schematics for the rest of us

biggest issue with it for me is can't use it if you have a trailer attached. Not an issue for most of us here, but I like trailers.

So I went ahead and contacted the company on the website and they responded today. Even though they no longer make this product, they are in the process of marketing the clamp-on version to some international customers so he said that if they go back into production he will let me know the price and how to order them. Of course if I hear back from them I will post it here.

Mine will be way cheaper
I would think so... I personally was just doing an inquiry for the group. I want to find a way to mount mine upright in the bed, but have not found a way to do so yet. Honestly it has not been a high priority though. If running around town where I might actually use the bed to haul something like from the the hardware store, they I usually leave my spare at home as if I get a flat then I can have my son bring it to me anyway. If going off road then I usually lay it down in the bed and strap it in but it takes up the whole bed so that is why I do not like leaving it there.

SOCOM GMV have an A-Frame Spare Tire Carrier that can be mounted several ways, including along the front edge of the LH rear wheelhouse, centered in the bed at the C Pillar even placed in the center of a bumper shelf. 86HMMWV makes a faithful copy of the A Frame Spare Carrier.

Some of the earliest GMV used a modified Hummer H1 Bed Spare Tire Carrier against the LH wheelhouse.
