Is a m35A2 bigger than a m813 5 ton? Both on super singles which one is taller/ bigger

Is it a pretty significant difference?
This is a M939 series 5 ton on stock 14.00r20 tires. 49in tall tires. Vs a m35a2 on its stock tires
Tires shown are a 1400r20 49in vs 395/85/20 (46in) vs a 1600R20 which is 53in

The 5 ton is the bigger beast overall. Don't be fooled by the overall appearance though, the interior is still the same size.

M810 (I need to confirm tire size)
Note, there is a slight slop to the ground, but not much. The M936A2 is on the high end and the M810 is on the low end.

Those are actually both 5-tons. M813 on the right, and what looks like an M923 on the left.
The cab on the 939s are higher set and wider than the M813; the hood, obviously, is much larger also.
The M809 series 5-tons use the same cab as the M35 types.
The attached picture of two of my trucks gives a good idea of the size difference. M813A1 with Marine Corps ISO bed on 14.00s, with the M35A2 behind it.
Empty, the M813 weighs around 9,000 pounds more than the M35.
If I recall correctly, my no-winch M813 data plate says 21,970 empty weight (USMC ISO trucks are a little heavier than Army trucks) and the M35 is around 13,530 (it has a winch).
Winch changes the weight by around 500 pounds

This M813 is Exactly what I am looking to build or buy. The M35 is also spot on and runner up. You have excellent taste.

I just love the M813 and if I didn't have one of them I would have another 809 series truck. If you build one you could start with a short wheelbase M818 tractor and put a shorter bed on it. Several fellas on here have real nice examples like this.

Fuzzytoaster has an M814 he is working on to sell sometime in the future. I am patient and not looking to just buy anything but who knows. Maybe that is the rig I will buy. If so my dream rig is an M813/14 with a Big Cam 400 an 8LL manual trans with either a 50000 or 30000 T-case with Detroit lockers in all axles (with needed hubs on two axles to make it drive-able on the street LOL) and if I could find the parts in hand I would put the MTVR 7ton independents with the selectable lockers. But I am easy going most of the time and maybe just a decent stock M813/14 would get me by just fine. Feeling out the options but that M813 rig you have looks Kickin and functional to me and that is what I am looking for and it is so cool to see people here that "get it".
Question on the M35 above next to the M813... I see it has the XML tires, such an excellent choice. Did they make that tread version for a 16.00? Do you like the 16.00 E-3 Xl 's that I see on the M813. Do they do well in snow with those extra large cleats?

To clarify, those trucks in that picture are not mine. Those trucks were built by Eastern Surplus for the Tuff Rack boys up in Canada. I do have an M813A1 but mine still has the stock 1100r20 duals on it.
I don't have any experience with Michelin tires but the XLs do look cool. About the only way to get a set that's new enough to be usable is through @simp5782 source that re-molds them over an XZL carcass.
It looks like the largest XML that Michelin lists is the 395/85R20 (46").
I'm toying with the idea of better tires. I want to keep the duals and stay at the stock size but I'm sure there's a more modern tread out there.
I don't want the G177's because I feel that they aren't aggressive enough for off-road. Decisions, decisions.

Rich, Firestone made some really nice looking 1100s for the military. I've only had them on one truck. Very aggressive tread pattern. I forget the model number, though.

Firestone T831s? They do make the XML in 1200R20 which would fit stock rims...
