MRAP Rims on a Deuce bolt question

I finally got around to mounting the MRAP Rims on the Deuce. Based on some reading here i reached out to Copper State Bolt and nut as they seem to have a good price.
It takes 10 - 1 inch bolts for each to mount the adapter plates to the rim. The rim measured 1 1/4 thick plus the 3/8 Adapter and a 1/8 washer so 1 3/4 inch plus the nut is 1 inch thick so 2 3/4 bolts would work as listed in other posts. The question is should I use course or fine threads. Course is 8 pitch and fine is 14. If i use fine thread i need to go with 3 inch so 1/4 inch of thread will be exposed no big deal. I planed on using a flat washer as i noticed that the outer rim piece has a slightly larger dia hole then the inner rim piece, so i thought the flat washer would help. Any feed back? Thanks in advance.

I think more important than coarse or fine thread is the use of locknuts. I used three inch grade 5 coarse thread bolts with grade C locknuts.

Fine thread. Fine thread is stronger, holds better. However, I could see someone here making a good argument for coarse thread as well as there are 10 bolts.

I read a study, once that suggested in vibratory environments lock washers actually loosen faster, so don't use those. I didn't use washers, didn't think it necessary. I used nylocs as well. Believe I used Grade 5 also.

Shop around, you really can find places that charge a fortune for the hardware. I got my bolts from Tri-State Fasteners. Even with shipping across the country they were the best price, by far, that I found.

Since the adapters shouldnt ever have to come off the wheels is loctite a good idea?

Personally I like fine, gr8, machine washer under the head and a flange nut (can be hard to find in fine thread).

Really, compared to the wheel studs, any combo works for strength and is unlikely any will come loose. This bolt is holding the steel adaptor plate to the thick aluminum wheel (but not holding both halves together). You have a joint prone to corrosion and should pay some attention to the finish

Thanks thats all good input . I ordered from Copperstate. i was going to order the flange nuts but they were 4.59 each and the bolts were only 3.27 each for the 14 pitch fine tread, so i went with the bolts washers and reg nuts all gread 5
