So I had to open my big mouth... Okay, so what exactly is it? Best I can tell it is a water machine - maybe? It appears to be mounted on a M871 trailer possibly? I have no idea that I need it, but Easley to Charlotte with my M1088 is something I could do.
Maybe PM me a price just because I am curious?
I can't imagine what in the world I would use if for, but it sure looks cool...
It is a 3.000 GPH water reverse osmosis purification unit. Comes with a mep806b

Okay, so I searched it out and 3.2 trillion gallons of water would take just a bit of time to filter. Only 1,066,666 hours.

You could cook a lot of food and fill a lot of canteens for a lot of people.
I imagine there is a "gallons per day per person" measurement in some TM somewhere.
Guess that would tell Supply how many to requisition for a battalion.

There USED to be a company on the East Coast called "Watech" that did refurb's and repairs. Its my understanding, that they went belly up. Hard to believe, as they were a world wide company. But who knows. I might be able to get a TM for it, if you need one.

Having the TM would be fantastic! I can't imagine what I would ever do with something that made that much good water, but reading and learning would be good exercise for the brain.

The wonderful thing about this unit is its 1950's tech. Simple, easy to fix and if you RTFB, not all that hard to work. The Gen set is another deal. I have known guys who drew water from places that you would not let your worse enemy drink from. On the output side was fresh, potable water. There is someone here in the forum who uses one on an island for his hotel. Parts should not be all that hard to find.
