Hi! Did you buy this beast. It is a Sherman, mostly with a M4 High Speed Tractor rear Idler. It would be a good candidate for a replica Sherman. There are lots of original rear idlers around. If you didn't get it, is it still available?
If you are going to get it for sure, I won't pursue it any further. If you change your mind let me know because there is a fellow in the UK that is hot to get one. I have the equipment lined up to haul it out.
This one is pretty complete, but has a huge set of winches, fuel tanks and other crap mounted on it. The right track is separated and the lead bogey is missing. The cab, engines and radiators were all there. I'm going up to check it out before the snow flies, I hope. I hope to salvage it before...
I need a complete bogey assy. It is for the M6 that I gave the info to Dan J about. There was a complete spar based on a M6 at the head of Kootenay Lake, but it got scrapped out with no parts saved. I have leads on 2 more, but don't know what they are yet, or where they are! Yet!
